YouTube TV Available in 98% of US Households
While YouTube’s traditional public access platform continues to hide its revenue, YouTube TV is touting that it’s available in 98% of US households. One of the keys to its growth is that the platform did the hard work of getting local affiliates for the big four broadcast networks in 90% of the markets it serves. YouTube TV was launched back in 2017 in San Francisco, LA, New York, Chicago and Philly. Right now, Google says it doesn’t plan on launching the service to markets beyond the U.S.
